Recently, a throwback video resurfaced on the internet. In the video, Serena Williams was seen spending time with daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. and sister Venus Williams. The Williams sisters were also accompanied by some of their friends. The sisters, Olympia, and their friends were participating in the L.A. Cancer Challenge.

Williams’ family adventurous day
The Williams sisters had an adventurous day out with friends as they headed to the LA Cancer Challenge. Sharing a light moment, she talked about one of her friends who couldn’t walk anymore and had to sit in a golf cart; Serena said, “we’ve had a casualty.”
Further, Venus and Serena participated in the 5K category of the Challenge. Venus Williams took to her Instagram, uploading a story about the same. The caption of the story read, “5K Time: One Hour. Not the fastest walks on the books for me, but for the best cause.” She also tagged the Instagram account of LA Cancer Challenge.

Apart from the LA Cancer Challenge, we also saw Olympia playing with her dolls. She was telling the names of her dolls as she sat on the floor and Serena asked her about each one.

In her career spanning more than 2 decades, Serena Williams has 73 singles titles to her name, 23 of which are Grand Slam titles. Eyeing her 24th major, Serena entered the 2021 Wimbledon. However, the American faced a hamstring injury in the first round, forcing her to withdraw from the tournament.

The seriousness of the injury was initially misjudged by many, and it has since forced the 7 time Wimbledon champion to take a step back from the remaining 2021 season. Serena also skipped the Australian Open 2022 as a result.
