Earlier today, the Kazakh tennis star won her semifinal match against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in Doha. Subsequently, Rybakina celebrated her win by tossing the ball into the crowd. That’s when an eye-catching incident took place. Her super fan, in order to collect the souvenir from Rybakina, leaped over one barrier ahead of him and fell in the stands.

The video of the incident was posted on Twitter and it went viral all over the internet. Many people reacted to it, expressing shock at this incident.

Despite the nasty fall, the fan is believed to be doing okay. On the other hand, Rybakina will hope that this incident doesn’t cast a shadow on her good showing in Doha. It was a comfortable straight-set win for her in the semifinals, getting past Pavlyuchenkova 6-2, 6-4. This is a much-needed boost for Rybakina after a heartbreaking Australian Open exit.

Further, she went on to add, “Then in Melbourne, it was a tough first round, and I had some issues after that match, which was a bit unlucky, but that’s tennis. The season has only just started, and there is still the whole year, so we will see how it goes.” 

After defeat in Australia, Rybakina came back in style to win the Abu Dhabi Open. Now, she has a chance to win back-to-back titles after making it to the summit clash in Doha. In the finals tomorrow, she will face the top seed, Iga Swiatek. It promises to be a thrilling contest, and Rybakina would have to be at the top of her game if she had to taste success at the Qatar Open.
