Bouchard didn’t play the US Open 2020. She fared decently at the French Open 2020 but lost to Iga Swiatek in the third round who went on to win the title.

Later, she injured herself while playing the qualifiers at an ITF event in the United States. The injury ended her 2020 season. However, she returned to the court soon and started practicing again.

There is no doubt that Bouchard can make a convincing comeback. Fans still have a lot of expectations from her. However, she hasn’t looked in a great touch for the last 2-3 years. She is at the 141st spot in the WTA rankings, which makes the things even worse. Will Bouchard be able to bounce back in 2021 and prove her critics wrong?
