Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka has been an exceptional player lately. As fond is she of being on-court, she’s also fond of off-court activities.

Recently, the Japanese star was spotted attending a basketball match in Los Angeles. The match was between LA Lakers and Phoenix Suns. It was the Suns who overcame the Lakers, winning the match 108-90 points.

Naomi Osaka does a usual act of indulging in a familiar sport 

Osaka was accompanied by with her boyfriend and rapper Cordae. Both of them were sitting courtside. Naomi could be spotted arriving at the event wearing a silver and black leopard print full-sleeved dress.

This is not the first time that Osaka has witnessed a basketball being present in the venue. Over the years, she has been spotted chatting with former legend Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Speaking of Osaka, she has been on a break from tennis lately.

Began the season on a high note

Coming to tennis, Osaka won the Australian Open at the beginning of the season. Sadly, she withdrew from the French Open soon before her fourth-round match. She’d revealed that she’d been struggling with poor mental health for a few years then.

She missed the Wimbledon Championships and was even unable to defend her title at the US Open. Well, now that the new season is soon to begin. It will be interesting to see if the four-time Grand Slam winner can defend her title in Melbourne.
