Naomi Osaka hasn’t competed professionally since US Open 2021. However, recently it’s speculated that the 24-years-old will make her remarkable comeback at the Australian Open 2022.

Tennis players aren’t afraid to explore other sports. This time, it’s Naomi Osaka who has chosen to play a lighthearted game. Osaka was spotted playing ping-pong at a tennis event. A racquet and a little ball are used in this game, which is played on a table.

Osaka looked happy as she tested herself in another game. Recently, in the Nike Playlist episode, the Japanese was seen playing the game of basketball. Naomi Osaka clearly has a knack for all sports.

Interestingly, it seems like tennis players are slightly inclined towards this game. Earlier, the 20-time Grand Slam winner, Rafael Nadal also played the game of ping-pong with former F1 champion, Nico Rosberg. Nadal impressively won the contest in the best of five games.

Osaka is likely to be back at the Australian Open 2022

The two-time Australian Open champion, Naomi Osaka just a few days ago, had posted snaps from her practice session. It seems like the Japanese who stayed away from WTA Tour since contesting at the Flushing Meadows, has decided to return to the tennis courts. People are expecting her to play at the much-awaited Australian Open 2022.

Osaka last made her presence felt at the US Open 2021. However, in the third round itself, she got knocked out by the finalist Leylah Fernandez. Former World No 1 couldn’t overcome the Canadian despite capturing the first set. Ever since Osaka stayed away from tennis concerning her mental health.
