During her quarterfinal match against Beatriz Haddad Maia there, the Tunisian star had tears in her eyes and broke down in the middle of the game. With this, the Tunisian star suffered another disappointing defeat following her second-round loss at the Australian Open. However, this is not the first time she has got emotional on the court. Last year, she had a similar incident at the Wimbledon Championships.

When Ons Jabeur broke down despite reaching the Wimbledon final
A few months back, the 29-year-old finished as a runner-up at the Wimbledon Championships. It was her second consecutive defeat in the Wimbledon summit clash, having also lost the final in 2022. During the post-match presentation ceremony after her defeat against Marketa Vondrousova, Jabeur broke down.
She had given it her all in the campaign but still couldn’t succeed, faltering in the final hurdle. Nonetheless, she got huge support from the crowd, being one of the most-liked players on the court. When asked about her thoughts about the final, she said, “I think this is the most painful loss of my career.”
