It seems Serena Williams’ cutesy three-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia can’t get enough of her Qai Qai doll. Ever since she was gifted the doll, the Qai Qai has turned into a social media rage and a global sensation, with many animations of her circling around in the cyberworld.

Alexis Ohanian, her father and co-founder of popular social news portal Reddit, has shared an adorable video on his Instagram page of little Olympia in splits seeing a toon impression of her favorite doll dancing to a song along with Colombian pop superstar Shakira.

Cuddling her father, Olympia flashes a million-watt smile and sticks her tongue out in sheer joy at seeing her little plaything turning into a toon superstar.

Though not seen in the video, her supermom, possibly holding the camera, must have been laughing away to glory seeing her daughter’s antics.

Ohanian tagged his post with a message that suggests that her daughter, though not aware of the ‘Qai Qai phenomenon’, is head-over-heels in love with her toon version.

“Not sure if @olympiaohanian fully understands the @realqaiqai phenomenon, but she sure does love the dance videos. Thanks, @shakira for the fantastic collaboration,” Ohanian wrote.

The colored doll which stands out in a teeming crowd of fair-toned ones has inspired many similar dance videos and memes on social media.

The Qai Qai became a global sensation in 2018 and many versions of her flooded cyberspace and even got her own Instagram page on August 22, 2018, where she is shown lying on the floor.

The toy might not have 23 Grand Slam titles like her mother, but it sure rivals Serena for global superstardom.

On the tennis front, Serena will resume her quest for the elusive 24th Major title at this year’s Australian Open. Her last brush with Grand Slam glory came at Melbourne Park in 2017 when she lifted the trophy after trouncing sister Venus Williams in the final.

A 24th title would put her on par with the legendary Margaret Court’s career tally, which is the highest across the men’s and women’s fields of tennis in the singles category.
