The Australian Open 2021 is just a week and away and players are training quite hard for it. As their quarantine is over, they are now coming to the court for their practice sessions. Recently, the tennis queen Serena Williams was seen doing some drills with a 4-time Grand Slam champion.
Serena Williams was training with French tennis star Nicolas Mahut. The two were practicing at the Rod Laver Arena and Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou even made a video of this training session. It was certainly a remarkable moment as the two veterans of the sport were sharing the same court after quite some time.

Mouratoglou even put a picture with Mahut on his Instagram story after the training session. It appeared that both Williams and Mahut had fun during the session.
Both Mahut and Williams are 39 right now and this might prove to be their last or second last Grand Slam in Melbourne. Thus, both of them will surely want to give their best at the Slam and will certainly look forward to end on the winning side.

Can Serena Williams win the Australian Open 2021?
Williams got off to a great start right ahead of the Australian Open 2021. Although she was making a comeback after five months, she defeated World No.3 Naomi Osaka in an exhibition match in Adelaide.
What was delightful was that Serena was able to produce some powerful serves and delivered some incredible forehand winners. She was able to cover the court quite quickly and even managed to handle the pressure of the last set’s tie-breaker.

With her current form, Serena surely has a great chance and will definitely start as one of the favorites at the Grand Slam. However, she’ll like to work on her backhand and will like to avoid doing too many unforced errors during her matches.
Williams certainly looks hungry for yet another Grand Slam title. She hasn’t won a Slam for four years nows and will undoubtedly target one this year. Will Serena be able to win her 24th major and equal Margaret Court’s record tally of 24 Grand Slam titles this time in Melbourne?
