Alexis Ohanian, the Reddit Co-founder, shared intricate details about his humble beginnings with all his followers on Twitter. In 2017, the Mayor of the Internet married the legendary tennis player, Serena Williams. His list of achievements includes founding the social enterprise, Breadpig and assisting in the launch of the travel search website, Hipmunk. He was a partner at Y Combinator as well.

Ohanian has been frequently seen cheering on his wife, Serena Williams, in the player’s box. In 2019, the tech investor’s net worth was estimated by Forbes to be $70 million. Recently, Ohanian tweeted out his first venture, which he started as a high schooler.

Ohanian’s initial startup idea was to build a system that would enable people to place food orders using their mobile devices. Ohanian was allowed to enroll in the first class of Y Combinator even though their concept was turned down. They were asked to come up with a fresh idea. The following concept they proposed would eventually become Reddit.com.

Ohanian further added in his tweet the various ranks he once held at his old job. He shared, “Dishwasher -> cook -> server!”

In the year 2015, Serena Williams first encountered the Reddit co-founder over breakfast in Rome. Later in New Orleans, the couple exchanged their vows in a celebrity-studded ceremony.
