Back when Martina Navratilova was an active tennis player, she shared a great connection with her fans. But as time flew by, her connection with her fans stayed as it was. She never upsets her fans and always finds time to respond to them and have a conversation. Similarly, she recently made a fan’s wish come true and responded to a fan who had been waiting for the tennis legend’s reply for almost three years.

The 59-time Grand Slam champion, even after making an exit from the tennis court, has an amazing connection with her fans. Over her social media account, she has always addressed various fans’ questions, but the latest one is a little different from the various virtual fan interactions she has had in the past.

Martina Navratilova fulfills a fan’s wish over Twitter

The 66-year-old former tennis player took some time out to fulfill a fan’s pending request. A fan posted a request on Twitter and tagged the tennis legend, requesting a birthday wish for his father in 2020. Along with the request, he shared that he hadn’t used Twitter before and even shared screenshots of the messages that he sent on Instagram over the past few years.

Seeing that tweet, the 59-time Grand Slam champion shared an amazing birthday wish for his father, who is the same as her age. She replied to the tweet and asked a funny question to the fan’s father. Navratilova wrote, “Hey Gary, congrats on making it to 66- we are like red wine, right?”

However, this is not the first time that she has responded to her fans on Twitter. Earlier this year, when she was diagnosed with double cancer and then even tested COVID-positive, she receive a lot of concern from her fans. But addressing every fan’s concern was quite difficult. Even while struggling with her health, Navratilova addressed a fan’s concerns and reassured him that she is gonna be alright.

When Navratilova responded to a concerned fan

A few months ago, when the 59-time Grand Slam winner tested positive for COVID after overcoming cancer, she calmly responded to a worried fans. A fan tweeted, “How are you, @Martina? Just remember, nothing can beat you.”

With a word of inspiration, the admirer also inquired about her health. The 66-year-old responded, “Hanging in there, thanks.” Notably, even while battling cancer, Martina Navratilova appreciated the love of her fans.
