American basketball star Brittney Griner is currently serving a nine-year prison term in Russia. The 32-year-old reportedly carried prohibited substances into the country. The narcotic laws regarding the same are different in her home country US and Russia.
King took to her Twitter account to point out the severity of punishment being too high for the athlete. Further, the tennis legend appealed for bringing her back home.
