Coco Gauff is on her time off after the hectic season she had in 2023. Of course, she needs some time to rest and enjoy the off-season with her close friends and family. And that started well for her with the Christmas festivities and celebration. Not just that, she also did other fun stuff during her time off like visiting Disney World, attending the NFL match of the Miami Dolphins, and attending a Secret Santa party.

She also used the day of Christmas to pack for her upcoming trip for a tournament due to which she probably could not wish everyone for Christmas. To make it up, she issued a hilarious apology to them.

With the 2024 season approaching so fast, Coco Gauff is preparing to make an appearance at the ASB Classic tournament, which is taking part in New Zealand, and after that, she will be heading to Australia for the rest of the tournaments. So, she took her time on Christmas to pack for her upcoming trips due to which she could not wish her loved ones.

To compensate for it and justify her reasons, she posted on her official Instagram story, “If I didn’t text you saying Merry Christmas, we still gang, I am just lazy.” Along with that she also wrote her reason, which was, “Basically packed for 3-4 hours on Christmas day for this Australia/NZ trip. Love ya’ll lol just got lazy.”

Well, as much as she wanted to wish all her fans and friends Christmas, given the amount of work she had, and of course how she got lazy, shows she could not do it. But since she took it up on herself to accept it, we are sure her friends and fans will understand. Besides that, since Coco Gauff is all packed up now, she will be commencing her season of 2024 soon with Auckland in New Zealand. She even posted about it on her social media.

Gauff shares her 2024 journey’s beginning with fans on social media

Coco Gauff posted on her official Instagram account how she was packing for an hour for her trip. And after that, she also posted how she is already on her way to reach Auckland so that she can start her first tournament of the new season that is the 2024 ASB Classic Tournament. Gauff posted on her Instagram story that she is as of now at the Manhattan Country Club.

It is in California’s Manhattan Beach. She is stopping there for a long layover. Gauff will be spending some time there before she finally heads to Auckland. She also shared a photo of the court in the story where she will most probably be practicing for some time before taking off.
