Legendary tennis player Serena Williams surprised everyone when she announced a comeback to professional tennis. The 40-year-old was away from action since her opening game in 2021 Wimbledon. Notably, Serena retired midway through the match due to an injured hamstring. Featuring in Eastbourne doubles, Serena paired with world number 3 Ons Jabeur. However, their campaign ended abruptly as Jabeur injured her knee.

The 40-year-old has shifted her focus completely on the Wimbledon championship now. Recently she posted a picture of her new support staff for the grass court Grand Slam.

There are only a few days left for the Wimbledon Championship to begin. With excitement at its peak, the top players have already started their preparations. Serena who announced a late wild card entry to the tournament recently shared a picture of the new support team.

Her former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, is with Simona Halep now. The 40-year-old decided to go in with her sister Venus Williams’ coach, Eric Hechtman. Here’s her post from Instagram.
