Martina Navratilova has gone all heart for Chris Evert as she has finally made it through her tough chemo sessions. In January this year, Evert was diagnosed with stage 1C Ovarian Cancer. Since the diagnosis, Evert had been under treatment, followed by sessions of chemotherapy.
Having a champion-like attitude, Evert faced the ailment with utmost confidence, putting up regular updates of her treatment on her social media handles.

Yesterday, after four crucial months, Evert finally announced the end of chemotherapy sessions. Learning about it, Chris’s on-court rival and a longtime friend, Martina Navratilova couldn’t stop herself from going gaga over the pleasant news.

Yesterday, Evert took to her Twitter handle, putting up a tweet to announce the end of her chemotherapy sessions. The tweet featured Evert with her ex-husband Andy Mill. The two posed with a wind chime as Evert wrote, “Right before the ringing of the bell signifying the end of my 6 chemos..”

Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert have given the tennis world one of its all-time great rivalries. During their career, the two played each other a whopping 80 times. However, despite being two of the biggest on-court rivals, the two shared one of the warmest bonds off the court.

Years later, the two retired from the tour. However, they continue to have the same level of love, compassion, and warmth in their friendship.
Learning about the completion of Evert’s chemotherapy sessions, Navratilova in no time took to her Twitter handle, congratulating her friend. Recalling the champion days of Evert, Navratilova wrote, “what a champ!!!! In every way:), well done Chrissie!!!!”

This isn’t the first time that Martina has supported Evert in her fight against cancer. On a number of occasions when Evert used to put up updates related to her treatment, Martina expressed her support by replying to the updates in the warmest of ways.

Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert are two of the greatest players of all time. Ruling the game for almost two decades, both players gave the tennis community some of its greatest matches to cherish.
