Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has voiced her strong criticism against the recent behavior of police officers involved in an incident with an autistic child. A TikTok video, shared by a distressed parent, showed the child being treated in a distressing manner, raising concerns about the officers’ actions.
The problem started when the child innocently said that a police officer looked like her grandmother, who happens to be a lesbian. Unfortunately, the officer took this innocent remark the wrong way, leading to a forceful entry into the family’s home.

Martina Navratilova’s strong words on the heinous act
The problem started when the child innocently said that a police officer looked like her grandmother, who happens to be a lesbian. Unfortunately, the officer took this innocent remark the wrong way, leading to a forceful entry into the family’s home. The mother was even assaulted, and the child was handled roughly, despite her clear distress.
Navratilova expressed her disbelief and frustration on Twitter, questioning the officers’ competence and their handling of the situation. She posted, “What the actual F??? Are the this incompetent ? Hate speech my ass! This is police gone crazy and escalating nothing into a traumatic experience. Holy crapola- I would sack all of them for lack of brain cells- clearly they cannot do their job.“

Navratilova further emphasized that being autistic shouldn’t affect how the police treat an individual, stating, “Is this what police are supposed to be doing? Yikes. And the fact this girl is autistic shouldn’t matter at all in fact. Saying someone looks like a lesbian is not effing hate speech, police morons!!!”
It’s absolutely insane. I mean…talk about total nonsense. Is this what police are supposed to be doing? Yikes. And the fact this girl is autistic shouldn’t matter at all in fact. Saying someone looks like a lesbian is not effing hate speech, police morons!!!
