Subsequently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion invited Alexis to watch her play at the French Open. The Reddit co-founder surprised her as he flew to Paris to attend Serena’s matches. The two spent quality time together in the city.

Later in 2017, Serena gave birth to her daughter, Olympia, following which Serena and Alexis tied the knot. The former World Number 1 once revealed an interesting incident with her husband.

During an episode of the GMA: Strahan & Sara show, Serena opened up about a sassy reply she once received from her husband. Talking about the incident, she said, “I asked him, I was like hey do you want me to give you some pointers and he’s like ‘no’. And I was like ‘okay’. And I was like if you don’t ever ask me for a lesson, you know so that way so he said no when I asked him…I was just like well who do you think you are?”
