Hailing from Argentina, he has the experience of around 20 years and has coached both male and female athletes on the professional tour. Prior to joining hands with Volynets, he was the coach of Emiliana Arango who hails from Columbia.

Throughout his years as a professional player, he managed to reach a career-high ranking of 901, as of 21st of September, 1998 (per the ATP stats). However, after bidding adieu to the sport as a player, he swiftly transitioned to a coaching role and has been doing well since. His major career accomplishment as a coach came back in 2015 when he played the role of a part-time coach for Flavia Pennetta who managed to lay her hands on the US Open title.

Thus, the Argentinean star is the brains behind the success that Volynets has displayed on the tennis courts.
