Love on (and off) the court? Tennis star Liudmila Samsonova sets tongues wagging with her coach, Alessandro Dumitrache, by her side. But is their bond strictly professional, or is there more to this dynamic duo?

Samsonova has generally been discreet about revealing the details of her relationship. Although there have been many rumors surrounding her personal life, fans still don’t have a name to talk about. Digging deeper into her social media posts, there are many pictures available that point to a mysterious relationship between the 25-year-old and her coach, Alessandro Dumitrache.

Dumitrache who has been a part of the tennis world for a long time as a player himself, has been coaching Samsonova for an undisclosed period. Born on 1st January 1992 in Italy, the coach has also been sharing moments of love with the WTA star. Their close bond can clearly be seen in Dumitrache’s Instagram post from late 2021.

In the series of pictures from their trip to Italy, a snapshot features both of them kissing each other, and holding glasses of champagne in their hands. Along with the post, Dumitrache also shared a caption that says, “Best wishes my love ❤️,” leaving high speculations about their mysterious relationship.

Samsonova and Dumitrache have trained together in Rome, Italy, and several other locations amid disruptions caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Samsonova’s career graph took flight ever since she joined him, with victories in Citi Open, Cleveland Opena, and the Tokyo Open back in 2022, acting as perfect examples.

Although neither of them has publicly confirmed their relationship, these social media posts still remain content with speculations about their bond. Apart from his association with Samsonova, Alessandro shares a connection with a tennis shoes brand.

Alessandro Dumitrache’s connection with Asics

Besides being Liudmila Samsonova’s coach for a long while, former player Alessandro Dumitrache also has a productive connection with renowned sportswear brand Asics. In his own Instagram profile, Dumitrache has clearly mentioned two of his active gigs, including his partnership with the WTA star and his partner along with the other gig that quotes, “Ambassador for @asicstennis”.

The company has a deep inclusion in the world of tennis for a long time. With players like Novak Djokovic proudly wearing the shoes of the brand, the gig makes him a formidable figure in the world of endorsements. As both of them continue to be hush-hush about their bond, it still remains to be seen if any of them will come forward to unveil their chemistry.
