It’s the end of an era. Paula Badosa‘s adorable love story with ATP star Stefanos Tsitsipas has been trending for a long time. While she recently marked an end to their relationship by sharing a shocking update on social media, their bond still remains one of the most discussed ones in the tennis world. However, Tsitsipas isn’t the only one who she shares her love life with. Before she started dating the tennis star, another guy held a place in her heart.
Before her relationship with Stefanos Tsitsipas, Badosa was romantically linked with a renowned entity in the modeling and entertainment industry. A Cuban-born model named Juan Betancourt. Born in Havana, Cuba in 1990, Juan Betancourt has been a model whose face graces the covers of globally trending magazines like Vanity Fair and Vogue Spain. His modeling journey is decorated with the gems of a major campaign for Tom Ford, helping him move ahead to work with top-notch brands including Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren.

Badosa and Betancourt’s relationship caught the spotlight in 2021, even though they never made a formal announcement. Badosa’s now-deleted Instagram posts from September 2021 hinted at their bond, as they featured candid moments of the couple in New York City’s iconic Times Square and cozying up in a car.

Paula Badosa’s confused responses on her plans to get married to Betancourt
Paula Badosa and Juan Betancourt were quite close to each other. Besides traveling across the world with each other, they also shared a bond that seemed to be quite genuine and therefore made a reporter ask about their plans in the future. However, soon after that, Badosa denied the response, mentioning that she was kidding. “Right now I have too many things to think about. I had a text from him, and he was like, ‘You put so much pressure on me! Now I don’t have any other option!’ Maybe in the future. I’m still young. First, I want to focus on tennis,” she added, making amends in her statement.
