Former Czech-American tennis player Martina Navratilova is currently covering the US Open with Amazon Prime as an expert analyst. While analyzing the women’s draw at this year’s US Open, she picked Emma Raducanu’s name once again as the potential winner.

Notably, after winning the US Open last year, Raducanu has been struggling with her form, as she has had a disappointing year so far. One of the reasons could be her continuous changing of coaches. Navratilova also talked about this, as she wants Raducanu to stick with her current coach.

It is worth noting that Dmitry Tursunov is the current coach of Raducanu. Speaking about her current coach, Navratilova said, This is a good coaching situation for her… I hope she sticks with it. If I had that many coaches in a year, I would be struggling, too. Too many points of view, too many philosophies – too much information.”

“When you get information from one coach you can kind of sift through that, figure it out. But when you’re getting it from so many different people, how are you supposed to process all that?” she said further.

Later, Navratilova talked about the “crazy” situation in the women’s draw, as Raducanu won it out of nowhere last year. However, she is still backing the Brit to win this year. The winner will be whoever gets hot. Could be Emma Raducanu again. I wouldn’t put it past her,” she said.
