With her amazing victory at the Citi Open, she received a huge prize money of around $120,150. And now, after winning six-figure prize money, the world’s seventh-ranked tennis player is getting ready to claim another $60,000,000 at the US Open.
According to Perfect Tennis, last year, the US Open prize money reached $60 million for the first time. And now, while this year the exact price details are not out, there is a possibility that the price remains constant or it can increase, giving a more competitive edge to the tournament. In a similar way, it can also boost Gauff’s dedication to giving her more than 100% during the last Grand Slam tournament of the Year.
On the other hand, the Citi Open prize money can be a possible boost for Gauff. A few weeks ago, her team also made a valuable addition in the build-up for the US Open as Andre Agassi’s former coach looked to turn the young American tennis player into a Grand Slam champion.
