Talking about the same, Lee, in an interview with Vogue, explained that tennis player’s boxes are like “a military operation,” where exuberance is limited.

“I don’t even check my phone,” said Lee further while highlighting the strictness that the game brings. Though Wozniacki freely celebrates at basketball games, the rules of tennis matches require a more subdued presence. This was one of the major reasons behind Lee maintaining complete silence in the game.

David Lee, mostly accustomed to the cheers and noises that he has witnessed in his career as a professional basketball player, has had to sit in complete silence when watching tennis! While this may have looked like a military operation to him, he has certainly been rooting for his wife Caroline Wozniacki.

Wozniacki says she has one of the most supportive husbands that she could have asked for

Coming out of retirement and playing back at the level best is something not many can do. But, besides Wozniacki’s brilliant on-court heroics is the support that she gets from her husband and her family. In an interview, she did not shy away from acknowledging the impact that her husband had and was quick to suggest that she feels very lucky to have such a supportive family.

“It’s certainly not easy to find the right balance—and I’m so lucky to have a supportive husband, supportive parents, and the help of a nanny—but I think it’s possible. I want to prove that to myself and those women,” said Wozniacki in the interview.
