Serena recently appeared as a guest on “The Ellen Show” as the fans geared up to see their favorite tennis player talk about her game and life other than tennis. She didn’t disappoint. Serena was in a joyous mood throughout the show and answered many questions. She entertained the audience as she does in the court.

Serena Talks About King Richard

In reply to a question about the movie King Richard, Serena said, the movie was amazing, and she is really proud of everyone behind the film. She said that what she really liked about the movie was how it showed the hard work put behind by an athlete and her family. People remember them holding trophies, but the real hard work and dedication that goes behind is something that is not known to many.

“It takes a lot of work, and that is what I really loved about the movie. It was the fact that you know so much about us just as players and these holding up championships and holding up trophies. But there is so much more that goes into that. It’s every day. It’s hard work, it’s so much dedication from my parents, both my mom and my dad,” she said.

Talking about the process of making the movie, she said, it was nice to see how it came together. Although it took a very long time. As they shut the movie down in between because of the covid lockdown. However, with hard work put in by everyone involved in the film, they finally completed it. Serena added that she believes the film will live on for a very long time.

“The film was amazing; it was so cool to see the whole process come together. Took a really long time, and it got shut down for covid. But I was so proud of everyone and how everything came together, and yeah, it was a wonderful moment. I think the film will live on for a really long time,” Serena concluded.

Serena Williams Hints at Her Tennis Court Return

Serena has earlier hinted that she is going to make a comeback in Wimbledon 2022. In light of this, Ellen asked her if she has started practice. To which Serena replied that she is going to hit the court in a couple of days. This will definitely bring a smile to the face of her fans, who have been waiting eagerly for her return.
