Eugenie Bouchard was supposed to be the next big thing in women’s tennis. She achieved great success early on in her career, especially at the prestigious tournament at Wimbledon. She won a couple of Junior titles in girls’ doubles and a title in girls’ singles at the grass-court tournament. Further, during her senior career, she made it to the finals of Wimbledon in 2014. However, her inconsistent form and injuries have prevented her from achieving her peak in tennis.

Eugenie is the twin sister of Beatrice. However, the two sisters have had a strange relationship growing up. They grew up separately as a result of a split between their parents. While Eugenie stayed with their mother, Beatrice, who was born six minutes before Eugenie, stayed with their father.

Adults now, the two sisters often catch up during outings. Recently, Eugenie shared a hilarious conversation with Beatrice.

Eugenie Bouchard involved in a funny conversation with her sister

The Canadian tennis star took to Instagram to display her hilarious chat with her sister, Beatrice. Her six-minute elder sister asked Eugenie, “Can we do an intense ab workout when I land plz?” The former Wimbledon runner-up replied, “Lmao dude I’m so far from my ideal body rn lol. Dating takes a hit on your diet holy crap. Wine, dessert multiple times a week is just like unsustainable lol.”

Further, Beatrice said, “Ok great cuz that’s just how I eat 24/7. Glad we’re on the same page.” To which Eugenie replied, “Lmao just got the pic now cuz I was on the flight.” This hilarious banter was shared by Eugenie as a story on her official Instagram handle.

Eugenie is on the brink of a comeback after her lengthy injury lay-off. She suffered a shoulder injury in March last year which has kept her out of action for over 12 months now. Recently, she played an exhibition set to regain match fitness. It’ll be interesting to see how Eugenie performs on her comeback.
