With the Olympic Games adding up to the already demanding WTA Tour schedule, the 24-year-old came up with a unique strategy, which she revealed in a recent interview. The 2023 Australian Open quarter-finalist opened up about her focus areas for improvement.

“Yes, it’s going to be tough,” admitted the 24-year-old, along with highlighting the need for physical enhancement. Rybakina also recognized it as a consistent area that could use some extra attention, as she mentioned, “I want to get stronger physically because this part is always a bit weaker for me.”

Along with admitting her physical potential as a spot that still needs working on, the tennis star highlighted the never-ending need for improvement on the court. Elena Rybakina also revealed the hardships of not getting enough time to implement what the coach suggests.

“On the court, there is so much to improve that we never have the time to implement what my coach is telling me,” she explained. While she seems to be on the right track of acknowledging and working on her weaknesses, she revealed her goals for the upcoming season.
Rybakina seems crystal clear about her ambitions
As Elena Rybakina talked about the weaknesses she will be focusing her training on, her narration of the upcoming season’s goals came out to be another surprise for the fans. In the same interview where she gave out the details of her strategy, the world no. 4 WTA star shared her ambition of achieving the top spot.

“The main goal is to become the world No. 1 one day, but the priority always is to do well in the Grand Slams. So I think the goals are quite the same,“ shared the determined 24-year-old. As Elena Rybakina has her goals set along with an understanding of the areas to work on, fans expect an amazing season for the Kazakh.
