While the Australian Open is underway Down Under, Serena Williams is enjoying some down-time with her daughter Olympia at a fair. She posted stories from the fair on her Instagram account, and we see her having junk food, taking rides and dancing away merrily.

Serena Williams tries the $23 donut-burger
In the story series, followers can see Williams order a donut-burger with ‘all the stuff but no tomatoes‘. By her own admission, when at a fair, she wants to be as unhealthy as possible. Williams takes a big bite and is genuinely surprised at how good it tastes! She posted her review with a ‘mindblown’ emoji. In the videos, we see Olympia wearing a cute pink hairband and hanging out with two other kids.
In the later stories, she also dances in front of what looks like a ride at the fair, overall having a grand time.

Olympia peeps into the frame often, enjoying her time with her doting mommy, as she often does. Recently fans also enjoyed a video of Serena having a fun time with Olympia, mock-fighting with lightsabers.

Fans speculate if Williams is ready to be back
Recently, a single word reply to a tweet by a fan by the American tennis superstar sent her fans into a frenzy. Williams has been out of the tour since Wimbledon 2021, where she sustained a hamstring injury. The injury was serious enough that she was forced to retire from the match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich, and has not played a match since.

Fans were hoping to see the 23-time Grand Slam champion back on court ahead of the Australian Open. But Williams announced she will not be playing the Happy Slam.

However, when a fan tagged her official profile and tweeted ‘Come back @serenawilliams‘ she replied to the tweet with a simple “Coming!!!!”. Whether she is hinting at an imminent comeback with this cryptic tweet or not is what remains to be seen.
