Alexis Ohanian is at it again, proving why he’s a top contender for Dad of the Year! Whether it’s whisking his daughters away on their favorite outings or finding time to relax with them despite his jam-packed schedule as a successful entrepreneur, Serena Williams’s husband just keeps raising the bar for #DadGoals. This time, Ohanian’s heartfelt gesture for his daughter Olympia has everyone talking—and swooning.

Taking to his Instagram on November 23, Ohanian shared a string of pictures and videos of himself along with his wife Williams as the couple participated in their daughter Olympia’s ballet function. The duo even appeared on the stage for a performance of The Nutcracker and were seen in black and red attire. Speaking in the video that he shared along with the pictures, Ohanian shared, “That time of the year. Mrs and I are husband and wife, on stage as well, for Nutcracker, this ballet.” Now, these gestures from Ohanian and Williams who despite their busy schedules managed to make time for their daughter, are gaining immense praise from fans.

A user took to their X account and expressed admiration for Ohanian’s gesture of adequately fulfilling his ‘dad duties.’ Sharing a picture of Ohanian and Williams from the play, the user wrote, “Shortly before I deactivated my IG I asked if I’d see you at the NWSL championship in KC, you said you couldn’t make it due to “dad duty”. My dad was/is full of excuses, often said “dad duty” publicly without actually doin dad stuff. Then I saw this on your story. Respect. 🕊️🤙,” the user wrote. Ohanian was quick to acknowledge the praise and responded with gratitude. 

Commenting on the post, Ohanian wrote, “Ballet dads ftw!” The admiration meanwhile, is justified given the extra efforts that Ohanian always puts for his kids. From baking Papa pancakes on Sundays for them to helping them with their studies, Ohanian truly demonstrates his role as a responsible father. And when it comes to Olympia’s passion for ballet, this was not the first time when Ohanian expressed complete support for her. 

In 2022, Ohanian took to his Instagram to share pictures with his wife Serena Williams, and daughter as they beamed together with bouquets of flowers. “First ballet recital for @olympiaohanian in the books 🙌 proud of you, Junior! (The ring pop was not part of the performance),” Ohanian captioned the photo. The couple participated in the same play of The Nutcracker, last year as well and were witnessed donning a 19th-century garb.

Alexis Ohanian has proved time and again why he is a true family man. And when it comes to his daughters, his love reaches a notch higher as he believes fatherhood to be his biggest achievement. However, many believe that if Ohanian had spent more time managing his business and cut the time he spends with his daughters, it could bring him more success. But the ‘Business Dad’ seems to accept no offense especially when the center of the discussion is his daughters. 

In an interaction with Taylor Smith for the Offseason NFC podcast, Ohanian opened up on the criticisms he witnesses. “I have business folks I work with. I have got guys who sincerely think I am not nearly as committed as I am to success at work because they know that side of my persona,” he said. Continuing further, he shut them in style and said, “It’s so wild, because I’m like, bro I know I outwork you, I know my returns are better than you. But I think it’s cute that you have this idea that I can’t be showing up for my kids, making some pancakes, and also show up to beat your a–.” 

As time evolves, it would be interesting to see if Ohanian would gain more admiration for his love for his daughter as he continues to explore more aspects of fatherhood.
