Notably, Navratilova recently expressed her views on the change of policies of Twitter after Elon Musk’s takeover. Additionally, Navratilova further criticized Musk after he made some changes to Twitter’s rules and policies for suspending parody accounts.
Martina Navratilova criticized Elon Musk’s change of policies and rules
The former Czech–American tennis player seems quite unimpressed after Elon Musk’s takeover of the popular online media platform, Twitter. Musk has recently made some changes to rules and policies regarding parody accounts on the online platform.
The new policy states that it will permanently suspend accounts engaged in impersonation without any parody label. As a result, a plethora of people raised their voices in order to question the idea of free speech on Twitter.

Martina Navratilova was also among the others as she expressed her views and opinion on the new rules and policies. The 18-time singles Grand Slam champion stated, “Am thinking Elon would like nothing more than a dictator at the top- this way he can control him.”

The former World No 1 tennis is quite unimpressed with Musk’s new policies for the popular social media platform. However, when a fan warned her to be careful, Navratilova hinted that she is quite unbothered about the new policies and changes.
Navratilova honored as the Legend Ambassador for WTA Finals
The former Czech–American tennis player is hailed as one of the greatest because of her dominating performances on the WTA tour. Notably, Navratilova further reached unprecedented heights when she won eight singles titles in the WTA Finals. As a result, the Women’s Tennis Association announced its decision to name Navratilova as one of its Legend Ambassadors for the tournament in Texas.

Navratilova, along with her close friend, Chris Evert, was given the prestigious opportunity to serve as ambassadors for the WTA Finals. Evert, who is also hailed as one of the tennis greats, achieved massive success when she participated in the WTA event during her journey. The American tennis legend has won four singles titles in the WTA Finals during her stellar tennis journey.

Apart from that, Evert and Navratilova are also inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame because of their triumphs on the tennis court.
