Sabalenka is in a relationship with Georgios Frangulis, the CEO of Oakberry. Despite keeping it low-key, she has never shied away from speaking about him. The World No. 3 can be heard saying, “Now I can bring my beautiful laugh. Hahaha! Hi, it’s Aryna Sabalenka, and I’m going to do a phone challenge.” The first question is about Instagram, which asks for her favorite account. Thinking about it for a moment she blurts, “Favorite Instagram account? Okay, my favorite Instagram account is Georgios, my boyfriend.” Although she does add in, “or Vogue?” her previous answer was clearly the real one!

“… Last call? Quite easy, it was my boyfriend,” Sabalenka laughs. The two reportedly started dating in May after the Belarusian broke up with former NHL player Konstantin Koltsov, who tragically passed away in March. Where he was an athlete, Georgios Frangulis is a successful businessman and a race car driver.

Interestingly, his company Oakberry announced a partnership with Sabalenka earlier this year when the two weren’t dating. With days passing by, Frangulis was seen attending Sabalenka’s matches and they made their relationship official at Imola GP. Meanwhile, both Sabalenka and Frangulis are supportive of the other’s commitments.

Aryna Sabalenka and her connection to Oakberry

Oakberry is an acai brand and has clocked up $23.8 M in revenues. Frangulis wanted to market this brand more toward lifestyle and hence needed some high-profile names to represent the brand. Among them was Aryna Sabalenka, who joined this lucrative deal.

Expressing his belief in Sabalenka, Frangulis said, “Aryna Sabalenka is a great example of the future of tennis and we are working closely with her to create some really exciting things over the years. We can’t wait for our fans to get involved!

Similarly, Sabalenka went on to laud Oakberry, saying, “OAKBERRY has become a staple in my routine as I prepare for a match. And I am thrilled to partner with the brand to share my love of their smoothies and bowls.

With the two bonding over business initially, their relationship has grown leaps and bounds. Frangulis can be seen attending his girlfriend’s matches often and is quite vocal in support of Sabalenka. She will next take on Anna Kalinskaya, who is in good form of late. Nonetheless, Sabalenka will look to ramp up her Wimbledon showing this year, as she eyes the title there.
