The prize money for the WTA 1000 Doha 2024 promises to be an exciting thing for all the competitors. As the tournament is on the brink of starting, some of the best names in the world will be going head-to-head to secure their hands on the lucrative prize money that it has to offer. Talking about the total prize money that the tournament has to offer, there will be $3.2 million on the line for the players to bag.
The first round sets the stage with 10 points. While the contenders will be earning $14,800. In the second round, the participants will get a total of 65 points, while the total earnings will increase to $20,650.
The intensity heightens in the Round of 16, where 120 points will be awarded to the winners. Not only this, they will also see a massive prize money of $36,454. The quarterfinals mark a crucial milestone as it will offer 215 points and a substantial prize money of $72,965. It then comes down to the semifinals, where 390 points will be given to the winners. Adding to this, they will also see their prize money go to $158,944. Finally, the ultimate glory of becoming the champion will give them 1000 points and an impressive reward of $523,485.

The WTA Qatar 2024 prize money structure reflects not just a competition, but a lucrative journey of determination and triumph.
That being said, let us now look at the prize pool of the tournament from last year and which player actually laid her hands on the title glory last year.

Interestingly, the tournament is held alternatively as a WTA 500 and then a WTA 1000 the next year. Since this year it is a WTA 1000, last year it was WTA 500. Talking about the winner from last year, it was Iga Swiatek who laid her hands on the singles title. On the other hand, when it came to the doubles, the deadly duo of Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula stunned everyone with their dominance to lay their hands on the title.
Talking about the prize pool last year, it was a total of $780, 637 up for grabs for all the prize pool. Out of this, the winner got $120,150 while the winner in the doubles category won $40, 100. The finalist got $74,161 while the semi-finalist laid their hands on $43,323.

Thus, this year, there has been a huge surge in the prize money. Comparing it with the money that the WTA 1000 Qatar Open had in 2022, there has been a huge surge in the numbers as well. However, the title contenders were still the same. In singles, it was Iga Swiatek and in the doubles, it was Gauff and Pegula yet again.

Talking about the prize money, a total of $2.3 million prize money was up for grabs. Out of this, the champion in the singles got $380,000. On the other hand, the doubles’ winner got $111,000. The finalist got $224,000 while the semi-finalist laid their hands on $115,289.
