She recently announced that she will take on the management duties for the Ukrainian national team at the Billie Jean Cup with the help of her foundation for the next four years.

She wrote, “Cheers to @ElinaSvitolina and the Elina Svitolina Foundation on this historic step to further develop women’s tennis and the national team in Ukraine.”

Moreover, the Ukrainian Tennis Federation recently announced the transfer of rights in women’s tennis to Svitolina’s foundation from next year to 2027. Along with that, she also shared the post in which Svitolina made this huge announcement.

It was quite an emotional moment for the American tennis legend to see someone else take a stand in the tennis world in respect of their country’s participation in the sport. Not only that, she also replied to King’s emotional applause.
