Serena Williams’s childbirth life was filled with struggles

After giving birth to Olympia in September 2017, her final Grand Slam win came at the same year’s Australian Open when she was 8 weeks pregnant. However, by the time, 2018 came, she struggled to bring out the best on the court, while Jill Smoller, made an observation over her post-childbirth tennis run.

Many people in the tennis community agree with Smoller that Serena Williams has an unmatched amount of personal pressure in the game. This heavy load can be linked to her dual role as a world-class athlete and an American representative on the international scene. She added. “Anything but winning wasn’t enough you look back at (winning) 4 Grand Slam finals post-baby, (it) would be spectacular for anybody. But for her, a complete disaster.”
