The former World No. 1 from shared a post made by another Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway, which shows Chastain clutching the trophy and smiling away as she looked ethereal in the gold-lilac ensemble for the ceremony. She also posted a story about a picture from the pre-Oscar party that Gucci threw.

For the Gucci party, some high-profile guests like Anne Hathaway, Edgar Ramirez, Zoe Saldana, and as it turns out, our very own Maria Sharapova were in attendance.

Sharapova was also known for her sartorial choices and fashion sense besides being an intelligent tennis star. Having attended the event held at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Beverly Hills, the Russian captioned her Instagram story, “Last weekend we got to celebrate and honor the beautiful @jessicachastain ahead of her Oscar victory.”
