Coco Gauff, the French Open finalist and current world no.4, revealed her family’s inclination towards a special car, the Bugatti, in a recent podcast appearance.

In the podcast, Kamau Murray spoke with Coco Gauff about her transformation from an up-and-coming teen sensation to a top-five tennis player in the world. The American rising star discussed where her inspiration comes from and how she broke through at this year’s French Open. During the podcast, Gauff also shared with her fans, her brother’s special interest in buying the Bugatti.

Coco Gauff shares her family’s interest in cars

Coco Gauff has two younger brothers, Codey, who is 11 years old, and Cameron, who is six years old. Gauff prefers not to spend a lot of money on pricey accessories for herself. Like Richard Williams, Gauff’s family kept her training on-site. Her mother, Candi managed Coco’s homeschooling while her father, Corey Gauff took on the role of her full-time coach.

Fans have often seen Gauff hanging out with her family and brothers. They frequently post social media posts in which they are seen watching superhero movies or dancing TikTok videos.

In the exclusive podcast, the energetic player was quoted, “I don’t like to spend money. When I had my first Grand Slam check, I wanted a car but my dad had already bought it and, I don’t know what to buy now. My brother always said he wanted a Bugatti. I told him you better make it big if you want a Bugatti.”

Gauff reveals valuable advice she got from her brother

Gauff once shared about her younger brother, Codey’s skills in tennis. Hitting a drop shot is nothing less than an art in itself, as can be seen in professional matches. According to Gauff, Codey always goes for a drop shot, whenever he plays with his sister. He calls the shot ‘snake ball’ and even advised Gauff to “watch out for the snake ball” in one of her matches.

Recently, Coco Gauff made her family and country proud. Gauff and Pegula are the first Americans to qualify for both the singles and doubles year-end championships, the WTA Finals, since Venus and Serena Williams in 2009.
