Cordae Amari Dunston, unanimously known as Cordae in an interview with Michael B. Jordan, earlier this year, spoke about the number of fans a person’s show attracts is proportionate to their success. He said, “I measure success is when I’m on tour. Numbers can be skewed very easily, especially within the music industry.”

Thereafter, he added, “A fan can love you so much that they can go to sleep and press play on your album and repeat it all night just to spike up your numbers. I’m not saying everyone is doing that, but you can’t fake the support you get at a live show.”

“People gotta get out of their house, get in the car, drive, and pay money to actually come see you.” Cordae at first gained fame by releasing remixes of popular songs such as ‘My Name Is’ by Eminem. Following that, in the year 2019, he received Grammy nominations for best rap album and best rap song. Further, in the same year, he crossed paths with Osaka and started dating her.

Admirable aspects of Naomi Osaka and Cordae’s relationship

The four-time Grand Slam champion’s first date with Cordae was at an LA Clippers game in 2019. Though they opted to keep their relationship a secret for around a year, later in an interview, the rapper revealed that their first kiss happened in Indian Wells, California. They have been together since then.
