Serena Williams has had many monumental achievements over the years. However, the year 2017 was a special one for her on both the professional front as well as the personal front. Early on in that year, she won her seventh Australian Open title by defeating her elder sister, Venus Williams, in the finals. Subsequently, she tied the knot with Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian. In the same year, Serena gave birth to her first child, Olympia.

Off late, the younger Williams sister is away from the tennis circuit owing to an injury. She has utilized her time wisely, making advancements in the business world. Additionally, she has spent quality time with her family. Recently, her husband showcased his love for vintage games.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Rally will IPO a ‘1988 NES Contra (WATA 9.6, A+)’. Reacting to this Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, said, “Once you realize this cover is a knockoff of the Alien xenomorph, @Schwarzenegger in Predator, and @TheSlyStallone in Rambo, you can’t unsee all the 80s greatness.”

Earlier this week, Alexis announced that his Seven Seven Six foundation will be donating USD 25 Million for childcare initiatives. Talking about this, he said, “The Child Care Quality & Innovation Initiative will work on developing and expanding the child care system in NYC, especially in child care deserts where there aren’t enough licensed child care providers.”

Further, he added, “As a father, I have a lot more perspective to create a world where every child gets the same chances that I got. Quality child care that’s accessible and affordable are fundamental building blocks for every child and family.”
