Donald Trump recently took part in the pro-am golf tournament. The tournament was reportedly a buildup for the Saudi backed LIV Golf tournament scheduled to start from the following day at the Trump National Gold Club in New Jersey. Taking a look at the groupings, the former president was grouped with PGA greats, Dustin Johnson, and Bryson DeChambeau.

While it seemed like any other game of golf until this point, it was Trump’s actions during the tournament that raised a host of questions. As per the golfing tradition, players pick up the ball after their hit. However, in the case of Trump, it was his caddie who was responsible for picking up the ball after every strike.

Going ahead to the next hole, Trump struck a birdie putt, landing nearly six feet past the hole. However, the former president caught the eyes of the audience when he casually scooped up the ball in the hole. With the ball in the hole, he apparently conceded a par. However, little did he know that his act had already made the headlines.

Prior to this, Navratilova had also criticized Trump for his extraordinary support towards the LIV GOLF Tournament. Taking to her Twitter handle, she alleged that Trump is promoting the tournament for its financial stake.
