One of the greatest tennis players ever, Martina Navratilova, often showed her interest in politics in the past. Nowadays, she is using her social media platform to express her various political views.

Previously, we have seen her being vocal about the former President of America, Donald Trump, and his supporters in the past. Now, she again takes a jibe at the former President regarding his recent case.

Martina Navratilova mocks Donald Trump for his recent battle with the FBI

Earlier, the 18-time Grand Slam champion took to Twitter and shared an article by the Washington Post. The headline of the article says, “Trump is rushing to hire seasoned lawyers — but he keeps hearing ‘No’.”

Then, Navratilova tweeted, “when you can’t find a lawyer to represent you you got problems…“

It is worth noting that, Trump has been looking for lawyers to represent him during his ongoing battle with the FBI. According to reports, Trump allegedly took some national security secrets to his country club, which the FBI raided. Now, according to the Washington Post, many lawyers are refusing to represent him.

After the recent retirement announcement of Serena Williams, many fans and pundits are debating about the Goat (greatest of all time) between Serena and Navratilova. Although Seren won more Grand Slam singles titles, Navratilova overall had a far superior career than the American tennis player.

Navratilova won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and Serena won 23. In terms of doubles and mixed doubles titles, Serena has 16 Major titles (14 doubles and 2 mixed doubles). Whereas, Navratilova won 41 doubles and mixed doubles titles.

Interestingly, they played in a different era and never faced each other in the singles competition. In 1994, Navratilova decided to quit from the singles competition and a year later, Serena made her professional debut. Although Navratilova made her doubles return, she faced Venus and Serena together once in the doubles competition, which the Williams Sisters won.

Currently, many still prefer Navratilova over Serena because of the fact that the former Czech-American player played in the toughest era of women’s tennis.
