Recently, Serena Williams was at the Drew Barrymore Show where she talked about her love for baking. When asked about whether or not she liked baking with her daughter, Serena had an apologetic “no” for an answer.

Serena Williams’ daughter, Olympia, is already famous for her baking skills. In fact, if her father, Alexis Ohanian, is to be believed, Olympia wants to become a baker in the future.

On the show, Serena was asked about her “guilty pleasure”. Something that she knows is utterly wrong but she can’t stop doing it. To this Serena admitted,” I love to bake and I refuse to bake gluten-free.”

Drew further asked Serena about her love for baking. Turns out, Serena is allergic to gluten. But the heart wants what it wants, right? “I will eat it [cakes with gluten] and I just suffer for like a few hours and I’m good you know,” Serena said.

Serena’s daughter Olympia loves baking too. Naturally, the next question from Barrymore was, “Do you like baking with your daughter?”

Serena seemed a little reluctant to answer the question. However, she laughed awkwardly and answered candidly that she doesn’t. Praying that her daughter never actually sees this interview, Mommy Smash explained, “She puts things everywhere.” Serena went on to talk about her daughter’s adorable antics in the kitchen. Olympia makes a mess and loves doing it just for the fun of it. However, like all mothers, Serena tried to discipline her a little with age. ” I’m teaching her now that she’s a little older I’m like okay well be careful because if you make a mess you have to clean it up,” she revealed

However, this plan hasn’t been very successful so far since Olympia ended up falling in love with the vacuum cleaner.

Serena further talked about what a “cheat” day means in her life. Much to the surprise of fans, she goes about a cheat day just like any other person. She sleeps in, watches a lot of TV, and does not leave the house.

Although Serena quit tennis some time back to focus on other things in her life, she does not like to say that she is retired. The former world no.1 has been working on her “Serena Ventures.”
