Ever since Serena Williams evolved away from tennis, she has been in a celebratory mood. Recently, the 23-time grand slam champion took to her social media account to share some moments from her recent celebration with Royal Oak.

The former world number one has been in partnership with Audemars Piguet Royal Oak since 2014. She has worn some iconic timepieces of the brand on the court ever since then. Even for her last tournament, the tennis ace was seen wearing the brand’s unique timepiece on the court.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has maintained cordial relations with her sponsorship partners, and they have been with Serena for a long time. The tennis legend attended an event in honor of Audemars Piguet’s “Royal Oak: From Iconoclast to Icon” book launch, which took place as a celebration of 50 years.

The tennis player took to Instagram and shared some pictures from the event and wrote, “What a beautiful evening with @audemarspiguet. This is what I call family. Thank you so much for my beautiful surprise. I still can’t believe you made me cry.”

The book tells the story of Audemars Piguet’s journey from its debut in 1972 to its 50th anniversary in 2022. She also posed wearing a famous timepiece for the same occasion and shared some screens with her friends. Williams was seen wearing a black dress with her hair tied up in a loose bun, carrying herself gracefully.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner is frequently seen wearing these pieces during her tennis matches. Even for her last few matches after her retirement announcement, she was seen wearing watches from Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. The former world number one was dressed phenomenally for her final showdown. While her outfit dazzled, her wrist shined with these beautiful pieces. She was seen wearing an Offshore Quartz from the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak collection for all three matches at the US Open.
