The doting husband of Serena Williams regularly updates fans with nostalgic photos and tweets. He tweeted his love for the vintage photos his father occasionally sends him. He was pleased to see that he and a few of his childhood pals were in the photos from prior DC football games.

It’s hard to believe that it has been 17 years since Serena Williams’s husband, sold the company for a staggering multi-million dollars. According to CNBC, Reddit was supposedly sold to Condé Nast by Alexis Ohanian and Steve Huffman. The 23-year-old co-founders became millionaires overnight in 2006. Reddit is currently the most popular website in the United States and is valued at more than $10 billion. Ohanian had promptly upgraded his father’s FedEx Field season tickets after selling Reddit.

He shared on Twitter that he had upgraded his seats to front-row season tickets for his father. It is the home of the Washington Redskins, an NFL team he has backed since he was five years old. He tweeted his emotions out to all his followers.
The very first thing I did when I sold @reddit in 2006 was upgrade my dad's season tickets from 2 nosebleeds to 4 front row and I didn't miss a home game w my dad and bros for a DECADE. But 5 yrs ago I gave up the tickets bc I could no longer support such a poorly run biz

Ohanian has certainly kept busy since then, with a successful career as a venture capitalist, and husband to tennis superstar Serena Williams. Ohanian has fond memories of those early days of building Reddit, which he co-founded with Huffman in 2005. The site quickly gained a devoted following, with users posting and commenting on a wide range of topics. By 2006, the site had become one of the top 100 most visited websites in the world.

Ohanian’s dedication to the company was unwavering, even as he was balancing the demands of building a business with the demands of his personal life. As he noted in his tweet, he made sure to never miss a home game, even as he was working tirelessly to grow Reddit.

Hard work paid off when Reddit was sold for $10 billion in 2006. It was a life-changing moment for Ohanian. But even with such a huge financial gain, Ohanian didn’t rest on his laurels. Instead, he continued to work hard.
