The fourth-ranked tennis player is the daughter of Buffalo Bill’s owners, Terry and Kim Pegula, because of which, she shares a very close connection with the team. But her doubles partner makes a different choice when it comes to her favorite NFL team.

Recently, in a conversation with Tennis Channel, the host asked Pegula her take on Gauff’s love for the Miami Dolphins. Before answering, she first rolled her eyes and took a long, long breath, expressing her thoughts on the question. However, after that, she also highlighted how both of them try to stay away from these kinds of questions.

She stated, “I know when it was like last year, it was coming close, she’s like. She won’t say anything, and I don’t say anything, but it’s like there, but her dad will like try and get me going. Oh man, those Dolphins like we’re looking good and I’m just like whatever.” 

It won’t be wrong to say that her eye reaction spoke louder than her words regarding her young American Doubles partner not liking her NFL team but going for a totally different one. Earlier this month, the US Open champion also shared her perspective on Miami and revealed her deep connection as a Dolphin fan.

Gauff’s love for the Miami Dolphins 

A few weeks ago, in a conversation with Miami Living Magazine, she opened up about how she shares a deep connection with Miami, highlighting how one of the biggest reasons for her love comes from being a dolphin fan. She said, “I really enjoy Miami, and I love going there. Actually, I’m a huge Dolphins fan. I’ve always enjoyed going to Hard Rock Stadium as both a fan and a player.” 

Further, she also explained how she has not only enjoyed the sport as a fan but, at the same time, loves playing the game as a player. Not only that, she also mentioned how the city and the beach atmosphere make Miami unique since a lot of other cities don’t have both.
