Former Australian tennis star Rennae Stubbs recently reacted to the excessive trolling of NFL legend Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bündchen. Notably, the couple is on the verge of getting a divorce. Since the news broke out, social media is abuzz with memes and jokes targeting the couple.

This did not go well with the tennis commentator and former Australian star Rennae Stubbs. Here’s how she reacted.
Rennae Stubbs urges fans to shut it down
The former tennis star showed her empathy for the current situation of Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele. The 51-year-old took to her Twitter account and asked the fans to stop making jokes about their current situation. “All the jokes about Tom and Giselle, people they have kids. Come on, just shut it down for the night,” she said.

Brady started dating the Brazilian model back in 2006 and the couple married in the same year. They have been together for 16 years and have two kids. Their son was born in 2009 and their daughter in 2012.
Stubbs weighs in on the challenges Venus and Serena have faced
The tennis fraternity from all over the world stood up and applauded the retiring legend, Serena Williams. The 41-year-old recently played her last game. Taking part in the US Open for one last time, Serena exited after a third-round defeat.

While the legend said goodbye to the sport, Rennae Stubbs spoke about the challenges both Serena and Venus have faced in their career. Speaking particularly about their background, the Aussie said that, coming from the African-American community, they had to work harder than most athletes to gain acceptance and respect in the tennis circuit.
