The Paris Olympics have finally begun. From the extravagant welcome of the teams on the Seine to the spectacular cultural infusion, the opening ceremony was truly one of a kind. Ditching the usual process, the Paris Olympics committee decided its guests would hold the Olympic torch on a boat and sail across the river.

Now, Serena Williams who was also invited to perform the ritual with Nadal and others, suffered massive discomfort due to her motion sickness. Williams was visibly uncomfortable on the boat and slipped almost whenever she tried to hold the torch standing on the boat. While she handled it courageously, her husband complimented her, showing why he deserves the Husband of the Year award.

The 23-times grand slam winner shared her experience on her TikTok profile. “Alright that’s a wrap on everything. It’s been heck of a night. I was in the boat and it was pouring rain, my lashes just came off, my hair came down. It’s a miracle I’m still put together. I thought for a minute I was in a wet t-shirt contest but I was at the Olympics,” she said.

But you kept it together,” said Ohanian. Ohanian’s compliment for his wife again showed how much he admires Williams.

The Reddit co-founder was also spotted managing fatherly duties when he shared a photo with Olympia where Olympia’s head was covered in a transparent poncho to avoid rain.
