Further, he has diversified his portfolio with his investment strategies. He owns a venture capital firm, Seven Seven Six, through which he has invested in a variety of fields – from technology to sports. One of his most successful investments has been in the NWSL club, Angel City FC. Recently, he proved yet again why he’s a die-hard fan of the club and women’s sports in general.

Recently, Alexis joined his wife Serena at a party of fellow entrepreneur and owner of several Miami-based restaurants, David Grutman. The latter hosted a party at his new place in Miami, where several high-profile guests were present. However, the occasion coincided with Angel City FC’s playoff encounter in the NWSL.

Alexis, who is active on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, took to the former to share glimpses of the party night with Serena. Sharing a picture together via a story on his official Instagram handle, he wrote, “Great night! Congrats on a dope new Miami hotspot @davidgrutman.” Further, he added, “Also you can be sure I was watching the @weareangelcity playoff match on my phone.”

Angel City FC went down fighting narrowly against OL Reign 1-0. With this, they failed to advance to the playoff semifinals. Despite their results, the team’s fans have stuck by their players. Reacting to this, Alexis had some special words.

What did Alexis say about his team’s fans?

Earlier this month, Angel City FC player, Paige Nielsen, was moved by the support of the fans. Talking about it, she said, “It gave me chills, right away. I mean, the supporters is what makes us so special and they put so much work and hours into us right, and again that’s why it’s disappointing getting that result but they were there fighting the whole day.”

Alexis shared the video on his official Twitter handle and said, “Best fans in pro sports! @WeAreAngelCity supporters always go above & beyond.”
