Alexis Ohanian is a proud owner of his soccer team, Angel City FC. He owns the team along with his wife, Serena Williams, and cheers for them constantly. The team doesn’t stand at the top of the table, but they have grown leaps and bounds since he joined them. During a recent match, Ohanian showcased how much the NWSL team means to him.

Angel City FC has shown immense signs of improvement ever since Ohanian joined them as a lead investor. Since Ohanian and his wife, along with other stars like Venus Williams and Eva Longoria, became owners of the team, their evaluation has surged.

Just hours ago, Angel City FC was ready to face KC Current. The team has had a banger of two months as they have won or drawn all matches they’ve played since 10th July. To make sure that their momentum does not stop, Ohanian keeps cheering them on to the best of his abilities. 

Recently, the team faced KC Current. The first 45 minutes went by without any team scoring a goal. In the 68th minute, Jasmyne Spencer put the ball in the net and celebrated to show her happiness. Ohanian, overjoyed at the goal, congratulated the team and pushed them on to keep the lead. 

He wrote, “Don’t take this away from @Jas_it_Up!!!“. As the goal was finalized, he then said, “Great hustle + goal, Jas! @weareangelcity let’s keep up the fight!“

The team won the match, and Angel City FC gained more points. Their performance has only improved since the last season, and their new signing has paid off rather nicely.

To make sure that his club will play even better than last year, Ohanian and Angel City FC signed top sprinting talent Alyssa Thompson. She is the second fastest 100m runner in California with an astounding time of 11.74 seconds. Their signing paid off as Thompson would go on to be selected for the National Women’s Soccer League’s top draft.

At first, they were just rumors, but Thompson found herself with Angel City FC, and the team has only improved since she joined them. Now, with their current win, the team is showing serious signs of making it big this season.
