Talking about this, Hamilton said, “I was working with a fantastic trainer in New Orleans named Mackie Shilstone. He works with professional athletes but I got a spot with him because Serena Williams was pregnant.”
Further, she added, “I bet Mackie Shilstone read about two hours a day on how to, scientifically, get more out of the older body. He works with young, professional athletes and not 62-year-old women, but we worked really hard. There was pilates but there was also nutrition and physical therapy.”

Roger Federer responds to Serena’s tribute
After the Swiss maestro announced his retirement, Serena paid a tribute to him with a kind message on social media. The American legend thanked him for inspiring her and many others during his illustrious career.
Responding to this message, Federer said, “The Hopman Cup was one for the ages.” He was referring to the mixed doubles match in the 2019 edition of the tournament where Federer teamed up with Belinda Bencic to defeat Serena Williams and Frances Tiafoe.
