The Undertaker is often hailed as one of the safest wrestlers in WWE history. He had a wide range of moves that he executed with perfection almost every time. However, ‘The Deadman’ once wasn’t sure about delivering his signature move, the ‘Tombstone Piledriver’, to a huge WWE wrestler because of specific reasons.

The Undertaker had a vast variety of power-hitting moves in his Arsenal. The chokeslam, Piledriver, and The Last Ride power bomb were some of his signature big moves that sent shivers down the spines of his opponents.

Out of all, the ‘Tombstone Piledriver’ is regarded as the most difficult one to execute. It involves the wrestler holding the opponent in a belly-to-belly position, then falling into a kneeling position head first.

Notably, in an interview earlier this year, Taker narrates how he once felt he couldn’t pull off the move safely on the ‘World’s Strongest Man’ Mark Henry.

The Undertaker was in conversation with Ryan Satin in an episode of ‘Out of Character’, where he was asked about the most memorable time he hit the ‘Tombstone’.

‘The Phenom’ said it was the one where he had to deliver it to the 360 lb Mark Henry.

He explained, “The most memorable time that I hit the tombstone? Oh, my goodness…I am gonna say Mark Henry. Because just of his sheer size I wasn’t sure that I was going to be able to do it or not. And always my number one goal always is to protect my opponent.”

The former WWE Champion added, “You know, I knew at that particular time I was strong. I was healthy, but Mark is a big dude and he was a really big dude when I tombstoned him. I think that time just on the sheer fact that I was so proud of myself that I tombstoned him and I didn’t hurt himso I’m gonna go with Mark Henry on the tombstone.”

A wrestler is obliged to protect his opponent in the ring. With ‘The American Bada**’ being one of the senior pros and a safe worker, he had to ensure the safety of Henry while executing such a complicated move.

Delivering the move as he had for years would’ve been no big deal to the WWE Hall of Famer. But he wanted to avoid the chance of causing any serious injury to ‘The World’s Strongest Man’.
