

AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view featured some high quality and at times brutal action with Jon Moxley’s Texas Deathmatch against Adam ‘Hangman’ Page supplying violence and the Iron Man match between AEW World Champion MJF and Bryan Danielson giving fans top drama.
MJF and Bryan Danielson squared off, with the latter retaining his status as champion. However, ‘The Salt of the Earth’ had to pay the price to achieve this task. Some fans thought it was make-up, but the AEW world champion took to Twitter to share the aftermath of the event.

Fans react to MJF’s injury at AEW Revolution
AEW star, MJF, suffered a worrisome injury during the AEW Revolution on March 5th, 2023. Despite bleeding internally in his eye, Friedman carried on and showed spectacular resilience to defeat Danielson. Fans loved the emotions on display as MJF retained his championship in all his glory.
Moreover, fans shared their instant reaction on Twitter when he showed up on AEW Dynamite with a bruised and swollen eye. Some fans felt the blood in his eye was part of the act. However, others also expressed severe concern over this sensitive eye injury. Overall, they took a liking to the heel champion following this graphic eye injury.

Nevertheless, fans enjoyed watching the whole segment, as it was grand entertainment! However, the AEW superstar did get injured for the sake of the show. Proving his commitment to the craft.
The AEW champion has not slowed down because of the injury
Recently, MJF posted the aftermath of this injury on his Twitter account to explain the severity of the injury. Clearing up the notion that this was just a setup.

The AEW champion updated that the blood from his forehead pooled into his eye. However, the champ looks unfazed and menacing as ever, despite temporarily losing half his vision.
MJF wrote, “The blood in the hematoma (devil horn) on my forehead has now pooled down into my eye. Still the champ though and the rats don’t seem to mind.” and stressed how proud he is of his latest achievement.
