Former WWE Superstar Ryback Drops Major Hint For Wrestling Return

There was a time when Ryback was hot property in professional wrestling. The WWE was completely behind him and it looked like they were ready to push him to the stratosphere.
Wherever he went, the arenas filled with his trademark “Feed me more” chants. After initially running through enhancement talent, he also got to feud against big names like CM Punk and John Cena. Unfortunately, that’s where things started going awry for the Big Guy.

Even after making him look like a monster initially, WWE did what they often do with most stars who get traction. They hesitate in making the final leap towards championship success. That’s what happened with Rusev and the fall out is clearly visible for everyone to see.

Ryback would soon leave WWE after an ugly public spat where he no showed an event he was scheduled to attend. After that, he made frequent independent circuit appearances but primarily remained aloof from professional wrestling.
However, The Big Guy has dropped a huge hint that he might be looking to don the wrestling gear once again. His eyes are set on All Elite Wrestling, a promotion that is throwing its money in order to become the new WCW. They want to get all guys estranged by WWE booking on their show and create a competitive product.
Former WWE Superstar Ryback Interacts With Dustin Rhodes
Dustin Rhodes posted a picture on Twitter from his match with his brother Cody Rhodes at the inaugral Double Or Nothing. For many wrestling enthusiasts, that was the best match they had seen in years.
It was not because it had some great high flying spots. The match clicked simply because it told a gripping story and fans were invested in the two characters slogging it out in the ring. Dustin said that this was the thing lacking in modern pro wrestling.

People don’t care about the performers. Hence, the action doesn’t get as much traction. Ryback couldn’t agree more as he replied with this huge tweet. Fans soon contemplated a possible return to wrestling for him with AEW.

Whether or not Ryback is cut out for AEW is up for debate. The promotion prides itself on pushing wrestlers based on their skills and not just because they look tough. Many critics say that Ryback is the modern incarnation of Goldberg.
Someone who can only have five minute squash matches but can’t put on a stellar professional wrestling contest. Whatever be the case, The Big Guy is certainly a mainstream name and would bring a lot of eyeballs to AEW. Do you think Ryback should be joining AEW?
